An electric drive is the convenient way to open your double-leaf entrance gate from your car.
With a double-leaf metal gate, the leaves are guided by so-called joints. The necessary range of movement is relatively large – an electrically powered double-leaf gate typically requires a radius of 90 to 130 degrees. Furthermore, a 230-volt power source in the immediate vicinity of the entrance gate is a basic requirement for the gate to open smoothly and reliably. A technician then only needs to install the joints or spindle drive on the gateposts.
Modern gate openers offer even more features. From soft start and stop functions to obstacle detection and a time-controlled closing function – the possibilities for individual customization are particularly comprehensive these days.
